Victoria Siegel was the loving daughter of David and Jackie Siegel. She was a bright, creative, and caring young woman who had a big imagination and an even bigger heart. Victoria loved art, music, writing poetry, and animals of all kinds. Even though she grew up in a privileged family, she remained humble, kind, and always willing to help others.
Victoria dreamed of opening her own sushi restaurant one day and hoped to design her own clothing line. She also kept a personal diary where she wrote honestly about her feelings, her hopes, and the challenges she faced while growing up. Although she had many wonderful qualities, Victoria struggled with prescription drug misuse. Tragically, she passed away at just 18 years old.
To honor her memory and help protect other young people, her parents shared parts of her diary in a book called Victoria’s Voice. The book helps prepare kids and teens for the real world by showing how important it is to make safe choices, talk openly about their feelings, and ask for help whenever they need it.
Today, through the Victoria’s Voice Foundation, Victoria’s story continues to inspire young people to look out for one another, make healthy choices, and speak up when life feels overwhelming. Her words remind everyone that they are never alone.
